KE-water for biotopes and natural ponds

The application of KE-water in biotopes and swimming ponds is absolutely problem-free and very simple. Algae growth and turbidity of the water have different causes and are due to an unbalance and not correctly functioning circuits. KE-water stabilizes these cycles, but there are a few things to consider. If you have problems with algae, it is advisable to carry out a water analysis beforehand because there are many reasons for algae problems.
Simple quick tests are usually enough to get the most important parameters. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Swimming Pool

KE-water should never be put into a swimming pool. There is no cleaning by plants or biofilm or natural cycles. Swimming pools are not a natural system. Mostly the water in swimming pools is cleaned by chlorine and sand filter systems.

Dosage:

  • KE-water should never be put into a swimming pool

Natural pools:

In natural pools, the water is purified by building up biofilms in the filter body. Therefore, treatment with KE-water should only be carried out after the filter area of the natural pool has been backwashed or cleaned. In practice, the pump is usually switched off for several days to allow the biofilm in the filter (with the nutrients bound in it) to die and then removed from the system by backwashing. The treatment with KE-water is only done after backwashing to build up the new biofilm. In natural pools, plants have primarily a decorative character.

Dosage:

  • One time 1lt KE-water / 100 m³ water

Swimming ponds, foil ponds and biotopes:

Here the water is cleaned by sedimentation and plants. The water body is an individual habitat, which is also constantly changing. Algae growth and cloudiness of the water have different causes and are due to an imbalance and not properly functioning cycles. KE-water stabilises these cycles.

Dosage:

  • One time 1lt KE-water / 100 m³ water
  • In case of heavy algae growth: once 1lt. KE-water / 10 m³ water
  • For large water bodies: once 10 lt. KE-water / per hectare;
